The music world mourns the loss of Marianne Faithfull. The singer and actress died on January 30, 2025 at the age of 78. Friends, companions and colleagues from the music industry say goodbye to social media.

The music world was of course particularly waiting for a statement by Rolling-Stones front man Mick Jagger-because he had a special common story with Faithfull. The two combined not only a romantic relationship in the late 1960s, but also close artistic cooperation that decisively shaped Faithfull’s career. Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich also tribute on behalf of the band.
