Bavaria threatens Hammer-Los-BVB probably in luck

The last games of the group phase of the Champions League are played. The upcoming opponents of the German teams have been determined – at least almost.
The group phase of the Champions League ended on Wednesday evening with an XXL game day. The game was played in 18 places. The teams pushed themselves up in the table every minute or slipped. In the end, three of the five German teams survived the league: FC Bayern, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen. RB Leipzig and VfB Stuttgart are out.
After the end of the last group games, it is also clear who the three German teams will meet in their next Champions League games-or who they could meet. Because in the end the lot decides who the Bayern, Dortmund and Leverkusen are dealing with.
The Munich and BVB missed the direct entry into the round of 16 and have to take the detour across the intermediate round. FC Bayern has completed the group phase in twelve. Dortmund is a bit better in tenth place with the same score thanks to the better goal difference than the German record champions.
The two goals that BVB scored more than FC Bayern have a decisive effect in the final statement. As the tenth tenth, Dortmund is now dealing with the team in 23 or 24th place. These are the two weakest teams from the group phase that have succeeded: Sporting Lisbon from Portugal and Club Bruges from Belgium.

Bayer Leverkusen does not yet have to deal with such thought games. The “Werkself” is back on March 4th or 5th. Then the first legs rise in the round of 16. The second legs take place a week later (March 11/12).
But it is clear that the reigning German champion will meet one of four potential opponents in the round of the last 16. Either he will deal with Celtic Glasgow, Real Madrid or Manchester City – or actually with Bayern.
The Bundesliga duel is possible, should the Vincent Kompany team win their game in the intermediate round and then get Leverkusen and not atlético Madrid. Because on February 21, a second draw will decide, which of these two teams of the opponents for Bayern will be in the best-case scenario of a victory in the intermediate round.
