The Minister for Sport and young people participated in the “No Bulli” initiative of the Capitoline Club: “Beyond the competitive aspects, for children education is important and sport sometimes full of existing gaps”
The attention of sport in the fight against bullying has long been very high, in particular for the values that a competition – especially team – brings with it. Values such as respect, collaboration, integration, discipline or self -esteem, in all -attempt to violence and prevarication of bullying. Also for this reason yesterday in Rome the Minister for Sport and for young people wanted to take part in the “No Bulli” initiative of Virtus GVM Roma 1960. On the day the Capitoline club exonerated his coach Alessandro Tonolli, his field Training in the “Cavalieri di Colombo” sports center, the children of the minibasket schools found themselves alongside the first team to give life to a friendly tournament.

“I see many parents and grandparents here – said the minister – this testifies how important for your children and grandchildren that sport has the center and the supreme value of respect in all its forms at the center. I want to thank the Lazio Region And Virtus Roma who together with Rome and Lazio have made themselves available for this initiative.

The day was born from the “No Bulli” protocol signed in the regional council with Rome and Lazio for football and with Virtus Roma 1960 for basketball in order to educate and sensitize the youngest thanks to initiatives to combat these phenomena.
