A 43-year-old man from Borger died after he became unwell in the Euroborg last night, prior to the match between FC Groningen and SC Heerenveen. The FC Groningen supporters association announces this.
This is the 43-year-old Wouter Eiting, the supporters’ association reports. Eiting visited the game with his father and became unwell for the kick -off due to an unknown cause. An ambulance came to that and he was resuscitated, but that was no longer to help. As a result of the situation, the match started fifteen minutes later.
