As the portal “Ajax Showtime” reports, citing Icelandic journalists Orri Rafn Sigurdarson, Fortuna Düsseldorf extends the sensor after Kristian Hlynson.
Accordingly, the two -time national player Island is on the transfer list of the second division club. In addition to Fortuna, another united club from the German lower house and clubs from the Dutch eredivisia are traded.
Hlynsson is contractually bound to Ajax Amsterdam by 2026. At the record champion of the Netherlands, the offensive midfielder is mostly only a bank presser.
In the current season, he only comes to nine competitive games for the professionals. In the meantime, the 21-year-old even had to go to the reserve team.
Therefore, Hlynsson strives for a loan until the end of the season. Through game practice, he can recommend either more missions at Ajax or for a change. His employer is also open to a loan.
Fortuna Düsseldorf is fighting for ascent
Fortuna Düsseldorf is currently fighting for promotion to the Bundesliga. The Rhinelanders are currently only in the 9th place in the 2nd Bundesliga, but the gap to a direct promotion place is only four points.
