In the first week of February it will be decided which four teams maintain their chance of winning the DFB Cup title. Here you can find the most important information about the quarter-finals.
When will the quarter-finals of the DFB Cup take place?
Unlike in the previous rounds, there are no longer any games taking place in parallel, and because only one game is scheduled on one day and the intermediate rounds in the Champions League and Europa League take place in between, the round of the last eight is stretched out over four weeks . The first two games will take place on February 4th and 5th, and the other two semi-finalists will only be determined three weeks later (February 25th and 26th). All games start at 8:45 p.m.

Which games will be broadcast live where?
Two of the four games will be shown live on television on ARD, on sportschau.de and in the media library in the live stream. This is the Bundesliga duel between VfB Stuttgart and FC Augsburg. The day after, the sports show will also broadcast the Rhenish derby Bayer Leverkusen against 1. FC Cologne – the broadcasts start at 8:15 p.m.
ZDF will show Arminia Bielefeld against Werder Bremen on February 25th, RB Leipzig against VfL Wolfsburg can be seen live on pay TV on Sky.

How much money is involved?
In the quarter-finals, exactly 3,351,250 euros are at stake – because this is the sum the winners receive. Whoever makes it to the final will receive an additional 2.88 million euros, the cup winner even 4.32 million euros.
When will the semi-finals be drawn?
Which teams will fight against each other for the final tickets will be determined on March 2nd in Dortmund. From 6:45 p.m., the sports show will broadcast the draw from the German Football Museum live on TV and live stream.
When will the semi-finals and final take place?
It will be decided on April 1st and 2nd which two teams will make it to Berlin. The successor to Bayer Leverkusen, which won the double last year and defeated 1. FC Kaiserslautern 1-0 (1-0) in the cup final with a goal from Granit Xhaka, will be sought there on May 24th. Like RB Leipzig, the “Werkself” could triumph for the second time in a row in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.
