British Ministry of Defense signs billion-dollar deal with Rolls-Royce for nuclear submarines

The British Ministry of Defense has signed a contract called Unity, worth approximately 9 billion pounds (10.7 billion euros), with Rolls-Royce Submarines Limited. The company will undertake the design, production and support services of the nuclear reactors that power the Royal Navy’s fleet of submarines. This will save 4,000 jobs and create another 1,000 jobs. The British Ministry of Defense reported this on Friday.
