It’s been a while since Harry (Billy Crystal) and Sally (Meg Ryan) spent over an hour and a half wondering whether men and women can just be friends. The romcom was released in cinemas in 1989 and has long been considered a cult film. But why should we now talk about “Harry and Sally” by director and screenwriter Rob Reiner all over again? Well, because the main actor duo hints at something like that…
The outfits are just right
Both Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal have shared a new photo of themselves on Instagram, in which their look is very reminiscent of the late 80s film. And the caption for the post also seems to be a reference to the old “Harry and Sally” times. It says: “It’s finally happening, we’re uniting for something iconic. “I can’t wait to show you more soon,” said the actors.
Now the question is: Is there a second part planned? There is no report from Rob Reiner about this. But the “Harry and Sally” protagonists also remain silent when it comes to further information about their social media postings.

What are the stars doing today?
Meg Ryan was last seen as one of the main actors in “What Happens Later” in 2023. Otherwise, the 63-year-old Mimin takes longer and longer breaks from filming before her next film projects.
