“We had been following him for some time and he ended up sidetracked at ADO, after which his contract was terminated. The conversation with him was positive. We see a lot of potential in him and that is why we brought him in,” said trainer Rick Kruys.
Esajas comes over from ADO Den Haag, where he was removed from the selection by coach Darije Kalezic in November for disciplinary reasons. Esajas played 62 matches at ADO.
First winter reinforcement
Last week it was announced that 35-year-old Vurnon Anita had been added to the selection. Anita is now eligible to play and can make his first playing minutes tomorrow in the match against MVV.
