Syrian tempted with return bonus: 900 euros in cash with one-way ticket to Damascus

Syrians in the Netherlands will receive 900 euros in cash if they voluntarily return to Damascus. This is considerably more than the maximum of 500 euros in cash that is normally given to asylum seekers upon voluntary departure. Syrians can also have their return journey booked by Dutch officials.
