Pre- and postnatal care is less accessible for financially vulnerable mothers. This is evident from a study by the Christian Mutuality (CM) health insurance fund. People who are entitled to the increased allowance because they have a low income can obtain a lot of healthcare at a cheaper rate. But many mothers with this status are often unaware of the available pre- and postnatal care.
