“As you can see, this is an outdated infrastructure, which is one of the reasons for the integration of the two emergency services,” says Inge Luts, Director of Patient Care AZ Oostende.
AZ Oostende Serruys currently only receives twenty patients per day. By bundling resources and personnel, the aim is to achieve faster triage and treatment. “This obviously benefits patients in need,” Luts said.
