Marc O’Polo is strengthening his licensing business with new personnel

The Stephanskirchen-based clothing supplier Marc O’Polo has appointed Sandro Schramm to the position of Director of Marketing & Licensing at Marc O’Polo License AG, as the company announced on Thursday. This subsidiary of Marc O’Polo SE is responsible for all trademark and licensing rights. The designated board of directors was appointed by the company’s supervisory board and complements the previous management board, which includes Maximilian Böck, Susanne Schwenger and Markus-Staude-Skowronek.

Schramm is no stranger to Marc O’Polo and is already closely familiar with the fashion retailer’s licensing business. He previously worked as Director Marketing, Licensing & Growth. In his new role, with which the company sets “important course for the stringent brand management and development as well as the expansion of the licensing business,” Schramm continues to report to Susanne Schwenger, Chief Product Officer of the parent company.

“Sandro Schramm has an excellent feel for the Marc O’Polo brand and, with his team, has put the licensing business on a new footing,” said Maximilian Böck, CEO of Marc O’Polo SE. “He has made a major contribution to significantly increasing the brand’s desirability and modernity and to positioning Marc O’Polo as an international and sustainable brand.”

Schramm has been working in various management positions in Stephanskirchen for more than six years. He began his career with the company as Director of Marketing & Growth and later expanded his responsibilities by taking over the management of the licensing business. This includes the areas of eyewear, body & beachwear, fragrance, homewear and the Marc O’Polo Junior collections. Schramm previously worked in various marketing positions at the Rottendorf clothing company S.Oliver.
