An insider reported that Pukki is returning to Helsinki.

Teemu Puki’s return to Finland seems to be happening. PDO

Teemu Pukki would seem to leave the United States behind. Insider reporter following MLS Tom Bogert wrote that Pukki is returning to HJK.

According to Bogert, Minnesota United agrees to terminate Puki’s contract early. The 34-year-old Finn’s contract would have kept him in Minnesota until next summer.

According to the reporter, Pukki has chosen HJK. His family has already settled in Helsinki. Bogert wrote that HJK will have to pay “a little” to Minnesota United, but United will buy out the contract.

Earlier, KTP from Kotka has also said that it is trying to get its own farm back.

MTV reported a week ago that Pukki and Minnesota United had not come to an agreement on terminating the contract and were still negotiating on the matter.

Pukki moved to Minnesota in the summer of 2023. During two seasons, he played a total of 35 MLS matches and scored 14 goals.

Pukki previously represented HJK in the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
