Triple Jumper Senni Salminen his spouse arrived at the Sports Gala on Thursday Stella Wickström with.
The couple dressed in all black have been together for two and a half years. Wickström is a musician, but also a sports person.
– He is a person on the endurance side, running stuff. He likes sports, Salminen said.
The triple jumper sometimes cycles alongside Wickström when he runs. Salmi had a quick answer to what is best in Wickström.
– We have common interests. It’s easy to be.
It is rare for Salmi to change her training and competition clothes to a party outfit. On Thursday, she was wearing an all-black suit.
– Very often this is not done. Maybe once or twice a year. If there is a gala or a wedding. There were a couple of weddings this summer!

Salminen’s last season ended already in August. The former SE woman injured her hamstring in the warm-up before qualifying for the triple jump at the Paris Olympics.
Salminen, moved to tears, was carried away on a stretcher. There was a smile on the face at the sports gala, because the injury was not serious.
– The injury was in the muscle, not the tendon. A couple of months, then I was able to train with full weight again, Salminen said.
Salminen has been allowed to train after his injury while healthy. He revealed that the racing season starts already next week.
– On Tuesday, I will open the hall season lightly in Denmark. I have been able to take it easy after the injury. It’s a good feeling.
