The Italian record champions Juventus have completed their first planned winter transfer with Alberto Costa. The Bianconeri confirmed that the 21-year-old right-back is coming from his youth club Vitória Guimarães SC for a fee of 12.5 million euros, excluding maximum bonuses of 2.5 million euros.
Alberto Costa only joined the Portuguese professional team in the summer. By November at the latest, he had established himself as a regular and top performer for the Conference League participants. In total, the U20 national player only has 23 professional games (one goal/three assists). Alberto Costa has signed with Juventus, where homegrown Nicolò Savona (21) has established himself on the right side of defense under coach Thiago Motta, until 2029.
