The Pittsburgh Penguins announced before last night’s game that Jesse Puljujärvi the season continues in the ranks of the AHL club Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

The information is not a surprise, as Puljujärvi has been left with little responsibility in the penguin jerseys during the last month and a half. In December, the Finnish forward was placed on the waiver list, but no team took the bait.

Puljujärvi, 26, has played in 25 matches this season and scored 3+6.

The Edmonton Oilers’ 2016 first-round pick is entering the second season of a two-year deal.
