After four years, the good life of a illegal dumper from Hamme in East Flanders has come to an end: the man kept dropping waste at the same place until he was stupidly exposed. He now has to dig deep into his pockets to pay the hefty fine of 2,295 euros. “We don’t laugh about fly-tipping here,” says Mayor Lotte Peeters (N-VA).
