Climate activists still convicted for throwing soup on Monet’s painting: artwork was not damaged

Two militants from the ecological group Riposte Alimentaire have been convicted on appeal in Lyon. In February last year, the two young women had thrown soup on Claude Monet’s painting ‘Le Printemps’ in the Museum of Fine Arts of the same city to draw attention to global warming.
