Up to 2,000 billion euros: that’s how high the PFAS clean-up bill in Europe can be, according to research

The cost of cleaning up PFAS pollution in Europe could reach more than €2 trillion over the next 20 years if nothing is done. That estimate was published on Tuesday in the “Forever Lobbying Project”, a cross-border journalistic research project in collaboration with academics.
