Costee hopes that people will discover his music through UMK.
The musician Costee says directly that his UMK song Tumbled a departure from his previous output.
– It’s a bit more hopeful and positive than my standard songs, Costee says at UMK’s press conference.
He applied for the new music competition for the first time and now he immediately made it to the final.
– This UMK is somehow amazing. This is now better than Sweden’s Melodifestivalen, and it keeps getting bigger and bigger. A great music festival in Finland, Costee praises.

Regarding the competition, the hope is that even more people will discover his music.
– I would hope that those who haven’t seen and or heard me yet would find and realize that maybe this is really good music. Inevitably, not everyone will see that this is good, some may think my music is bad, but that’s okay.
Costee is clearly on the wagon from the history of Eurovision. When you ask him about his all-time favorite wit, the answer is something completely different from Käärijän’s Cha Cha Cha or Abba Waterloo.
– My favorite is France Gallin Poupée de cire, poupée de son from the beginning of the 60s. It has done that Serge Gainsbourg. It’s a great song. It’s my favorite.
Poupée de cire, poupée de son is the winning song of the 1965 Eurovision Song Contest. It was presented by the Frenchman France Gall, who represented Luxembourg. Gainsbourg is a French songwriter.

Coste’s UMK song Sekaisin will be published on 13.1. The representative of Finland’s twenties will make it to the finals of the New Music Competition at Tampere’s Nokia Arena on February 8.
