A motorist left a trail of destruction in Den Bosch on Sunday evening. The female driver left the road on the Rietveldenweg and drove straight through a gas station price sign. The driver then hit several road signs and a lamp post along the way. She eventually came to a stop when she hit several parked cars. The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The police are investigating possible alcohol and/or drug use there. The road has been partially closed to clear up the enormous damage.
The police are also looking for the original location of the lamppost that dragged the woman for some time.
All emergency services are now present, as well as a recovery service and the municipality. Many people came to see the accident.
