The South Korean Intelligence Service (NIS) confirmed on Sunday the capture by Ukraine of two North Korean soldiers at the battlefield in Russia’s Kursk region. Kyiv said it took part in the interrogation of the soldiers together with Ukrainian services. According to NIS, one of the detainees stated during interrogation that he had received military training from Russian forces after his arrival in November. “He initially thought he had been sent for training, but upon arrival in Russia realized he had been sent to the front,” the NIS said.
