Bayer Leverkusen are finally giving up central defender Sadik Fofana. The 21-year-old is moving to Grazer AK 1902. Fofana signed a contract with the newly promoted Austrian Bundesliga team until June 30, 2027.
The defensive talent moved from Alemannia Aachen to the Bayer academy in 2020 and received a professional contract two years later. However, Fofana never played for coach Xabi Alonso’s team. Instead, he went on loan to 1. FC Nürnberg and Fortuna Sittard, where Fofana, who made his debut for the Togo national team in March 2024, was unable to establish himself sustainably.
