Quick beeper Nooralotta Neziri32, returned to competitions and ran a smooth 60 meters in Tampere with a time of 7.42.

Neziri ran the distance twice in Pirkkahalli and was first place both times. Another bet stopped the digitals at 7.50.

– I came to this race with a puzzled mind. There has been variability in training. Sometimes it feels like I’m at a record pace, but the recovery hasn’t been that fast, Neziri said, according to a press release from the Finnish Sports Association.

Neziri’s 60m smooth record is 7.40, which means he missed it by only two hundredths.

After the smooth, Neziri ran the 60-meter hurdles alone. The time was 8:35.

Nezir, who dominated the domestic 100-meter hurdles for years in the 2010s, was ruined by an injury last summer. The last time he competed was in May 2024.

Neziri recently spent five weeks in Tenerife training.

– There has been a slight wave movement in training. Now it showed in the fact that the second 60 meters and the 60 meter hurdles did not go as well as the first run. The hurdles seemed technically okay, but the video looked like nothing was happening, Neziri assessed.

According to the press release of the Finnish Sports Federation, Neziri will start the indoor season in earnest in a week in Luxembourg.
