FC Bayern is currently in several contract discussions. However, a player with whom Munich is actually planning could leave in the summer.
Will Alphonso Davies leave FC Bayern this summer? It has been clear for months that Real Madrid wants to sign the German record champions’ left-back. According to media reports, there were always offers from the Royals for Davies. It is also clear that Bayern want to extend the deal with the Canadian – apparently until 2029.
Davies’ contract in Munich runs until the summer. And although the club management around sports director Max Eberl and sports director Christoph Freund recently seemed optimistic about reaching an agreement with the 24-year-old according to a report in the “Bild” newspaper, the Spanish radio station “Cadena SER” is fueling the speculation again.
The focus is on Davies’ advisor Nick Househ. Accordingly, he received a final offer for his client from Real Madrid: a five-year contract with an annual gross salary of 20 million euros plus additional money for a free transfer from Davies to Madrid.
Househ is currently in Munich, it is said. According to “Bild”, the negotiations with Bayern are scheduled until January 16th. Davies will have to decide by then. Sports director Eberl said on Friday: “It’s no secret that we talk to the agents, to the players whose contracts are expiring or where a contract still exists.” “Unfortunately, he can’t say much else, as he did recently: We’re working very intensively on it.”
Both the Bayern side and Davies apparently have different salary expectations. The player is apparently demanding an annual salary of 16 million euros plus bonus payments and a deposit of 15 million euros. This is apparently too much for Bayern.
