Anni Kärävä finished second in the freeskin big air world cup in Kreischberg.
The ranking is the best of the 24-year-old Kärävä’s career in the World Cup. He got 89.00, 78.50 and 84.50 points with his jumps.
– Huh, I’m really excited about the first podium finish! This means a lot to me! Kärävä commented in Ski Sport Finland’s press release.
Head coach of Freeski Juha Mourujärvi said that he had been waiting for a podium finish from Kärävä for a long time.
– You can’t help but be satisfied. Work has been done for a long time. At the jumping tower, immediately after Ann’s third jump, coaches from other countries came to congratulate her on a good race, Mourujärvi said.
