UFC boss Dana White in the future will be part of the board of Meta, i.e. the former Facebook. The man told the news on Monday.
According to White, government affairs have not previously interested him, but when the founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg glared at him, his mind changed.
White, 55, justified his decision by saying that he loves social media, artificial intelligence and its role in the future.
– I love nothing more than building brands. “I’m looking forward to helping Meta take it to the next level,” White said.
Zuckerberg, on the other hand, stated that he wanted White on the board for the very reason mentioned above. According to the Meta boss, the man has made a convincing mark with the UFC.
– I have admired him as an entrepreneur and his ability to build such a beloved brand.
The men knew each other from before. Zuckerberg is a familiar sight at UFC matches, where he has often sat next to White.
