A businessman is demanding 4.7 million euros in damages from the Antwerp police. The man was stopped by inspectors in September last year and accused of driving under the influence of drugs. “They investigated everything for three to four hours.” According to the man himself, he was treated aggressively and the saliva test was taken incorrectly. Now that it appears that the test was actually negative, the entrepreneur wants to prosecute the police. “After just a few seconds they said I had tested positive for cocaine, amphetamines, cannabis and a few other drugs.”
