Venezuelan opposition leader arrested and immediately released after demonstration against President Maduro

Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado (57) was arrested on Thursday when she appeared in the capital Caracas at a demonstration against the inauguration of President Nicolas Maduro. After a short detention of about an hour, she was released. The Venezuelan government itself denies the arrest.
