A car crashed into the back of a gritter in Breda on Thursday evening. This happened at the intersection of Loevesteinstraat and Zwijnsbergenstraat. The driver and passenger were injured.
The car is badly damaged. An air ambulance was present. The two victims were taken to hospital by ambulance, accompanied by a trauma doctor. The police are investigating the accident.
It may become slippery on Thursday evening due to freezing wet roads and snow remains. Gritter trucks from the municipality and Rijkswaterstaat have therefore taken action. Code yellow applies until eleven o’clock on Friday morning.
