Rijkswaterstaat will be working on the road in these places around Zoetermeer in 2025

New year, new roadworks: Rijkswaterstaat will carry out major repairs at 93 places in the Netherlands this year. Roads near Zoetermeer are also being overhauled.

In the State of the Infrastructure Rijkswaterstaat outlines future work. Not only roads are being renovated, but (repair) work is also being carried out on bridges and tunnels.

Work around Zoetermeer

Motorists to and from Zoetermeer will experience inconvenience from the road works. According to Rijkswaterstaat, several projects are planned near Zoetermeer. Some examples:

• Lighting work between the Prins Clausplein junction and Zoetermeer
• Paving work between Zoetermeer and the Gouwe junction
• Work on the Vliettunnel

Planning still flexible

Rijkswaterstaat has 93 projects planned this year. In 2024 there were still 43. The export schedule is currently still flexible and will take shape during the year. Some work may not be completed until 2026. Current information about the projects can be found on the website vananaarbeter.nl.
