Investigating judge and prosecutor’s office experienced “no pressure” during the investigation into sexual abuse in the Catholic Church

In the parliamentary committee of inquiry into possible abuses in Operation Kelk, the judicial investigation into sexual abuse in the Catholic Church, investigating judge Wim De Troy and public prosecutor Liesbeth Verlinden testified on Wednesday that they had experienced no pressure from the church, lawyers or other magistrates.
