THE HAGUE – From February, PostNL will empty most mailboxes in the Netherlands earlier in the day, instead of collecting all mail after 5 p.m. The postal and parcel deliverer is taking this measure because the affordability of postal services is coming under “increasing pressure” and, according to the company, will be loss-making this year.
