Model and entertainer Heidi Klum returns to a previous role. The 51-year-old will again host the US talent show ‘Project Runway’.
The US broadcaster Freeform announced Klum’s return, but without giving a specific date. The 21st season is scheduled to air later this year.
Klum left ‘Project Runway’ alongside fashion consultant Tim Gunn in September 2018 after 16 seasons. The duo then launched the joint reality fashion show ‘Making the Cut’ on the streaming service Amazon Prime Video, which ran until 2022. The creations of young designers were evaluated.
The designer casting series ‘Project Runway’ also revolves around young fashion designers who have to impress a jury with their outfits. After Klum and Gunn left, US model Karlie Kloss and US designer Christian Siriano stepped in as hosts.
In Germany, Klum has had success with her casting show ‘Germany’s Next Topmodel’ (GNTM) on ProSieben since 2006. (dpa)
