Chaos and at least three deaths due to heavy winter storm in US: “Possibly heaviest snowfall and freezing cold in ten years”

Large parts of the United States are being hit by a severe winter storm. More than 60 million residents in more than a dozen states are under severe weather warnings on Monday for heavy snow, dangerous icing, biting winds and extremely low temperatures. Hundreds of traffic accidents have occurred across the country and many motorists have found their cars stuck in the snow. There are also reports of at least three deaths. People are urged to “stay at home”.
