On January 2, Luc Van den Berg opens his mailbox. In the mail is a card for his mother Maria, who is now 95 years old. When Luc looks at the date of the card, he notices that the card was actually posted 35 years ago.
“The card was stamped on August 18, 1990 and was addressed to my mother, because she retired in 1990,” says son Luc. “Our mother used to study in Wijnegem and went to boarding school there. Her best friend there was Judith,” daughter Lut adds.
