STATEMENT FROM OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
We would like to thank our valuable Congress Members who deemed us worthy of the honor of serving our Beşiktaş at the Extraordinary Electoral General Assembly Meeting held with the highest participation in our history.
We would like to express our gratitude to every member of our community, especially our Chairman of the Council Board, Tevfik Yamantürk, who honored us by attending the certificate of appointment ceremony, and our Council Presidential Board Members, and our Disciplinary Board President, Ahmet Akpınar, who served as the President of the Congress Council at the Extraordinary Electoral General Assembly Meeting held on December 29, 2024, and our Congress Council Members. We present.
After the certificate of honor ceremony, we held our first board of directors meeting without wasting any time in order to carry Beşiktaş to the good days it deserves.
We would like to state that we are aware of the responsibility and message given to our Board of Directors. In this context, based on the promises we made during the election period; As our first action, we took the first decision of the new Board of Directors to demand accountability for every penny wasted by Beşiktaş and recorded it.
In this process, we will seek all the material, moral and legal rights of Beşiktaş fans, and we will start working to take all kinds of legal and institutional steps to prevent our club’s name from being mentioned again with scandals such as those experienced in the last year.
We started our duty by giving first priority to the studies aimed at examining and researching the last year in detail in this context. We are rapidly progressing the negotiations with world-renowned auditing companies and working to finalize them within a week. At the end of this process, we express that we, as the board of directors, are in unanimous vote and consensus to hold those responsible accountable by using every legal means.
