The air has been cleared between sports influencer and rapper Kosso and car dealer Du Parc in Oisterwijk. Both parties report that they have reached an agreement. Kosso does not have to buy the Cybertruck, which has been the subject of much fuss in recent days, despite his down payment. Kosso now even praises the enormous Tesla: “I really fell in love with this car.”

The latter is special, because during his previous visit to Du Parc he called the angular, tin-like Cybertruck ‘extremely ugly’. To add: “But I do it for the marketing.” In a new video he calls this plan a success, but at the same time complains about the media. He is said to have spread lies and to have a ‘black heart’.

Two trucks
Why this anger? Kosso made it appear as if he had bought the Tesla Cybertruck at Du Parc in Oisterwijk and then took it to Albania and had the car registered. Du Parc also initially went along with that story.

However, on Tuesday, Omroep Brabant discovered that the truck never left Oisterwijk and is still parked on the site. So Kosso bought the copy from his videos somewhere else. Kosso denied this several times in an interview with Omroep Brabant.

‘Nice deal made’
On Thursday he changed his story: he would never have bought the truck from Du Parc, but only reserved it. He subsequently canceled that reservation and no longer needs the truck.

Du Parc saw it differently. The company indicated that a down payment had indeed been made, with which the car was legally sold, to Kosso. Owner Rob de Koster said he wanted to hold him to that.

Kosso now also acknowledges that a down payment has been made. But a video shows him shaking hands with a Du Parc employee: “We are good,” they say. Du Parc informs Omroep Brabant that the case has indeed been settled. Kosso no longer has to buy the truck.

It remains unclear whether he received his deposit back. Rob de Koster: “We made a great deal to the satisfaction of both.”
