The Gialloblù coach: “We bring home a point as a team and with character”
“When you score points I’m in a good mood – says Zanetti – also because it’s a very important point against a really strong team, which has incredible physicality. I was fearing this match, dueling all over the pitch it was really difficult but we brought home a point from team, of character, there were 10 of us left and all our spirit came out which we are showing in these last few races.
Centrally they were difficult to overcome and we tried to play with the fifths. We haven’t conceded a goal but defensively we still have to grow and we have to do it as a team. We cannot ignore the motivational aspect which must always be at the top on the part of those who play and those who enter. Now we are giving the impression of being a team, if the boys have the right head and the desire to throw their hearts over the obstacle we can score points even against teams superior to us. With our limitations and difficulties, if the team has the right attitude, the results can be seen, and we are more serene.”
