WASHINGTON – The American justice department does not want to delay the proposed TikTok ban. The Chinese operator of the app, Bytedance, must sell American parts before January 19. However, incoming President Donald Trump, who will be inaugurated a day later, has asked for a postponement of the ban and says he can make a deal with China.
