The driver of a car was seriously injured on Friday evening in an accident on the Zuidelijke Randweg in Moerdijk. The car left the road for unknown reasons and crashed into a tree.
The victim became trapped and had to be freed from the wreckage by the fire brigade. An air ambulance plus two ambulances arrived at the scene of the accident to provide assistance.
The road is closed to traffic.
