Isaiah Hartenstein and the Oklahoma City Thunder remain on the road to success in the NBA professional basketball league in the new year.
Thanks to an improvement in the second half, the team around the German center won confidently against the Los Angeles Clippers with 116:98 and extended their winning streak to 13 games.
Key players Hartenstein
The Oklahoma City Thunder’s winning streak is the longest since the team moved from Seattle after the 2007/08 season. Hartenstein was once again one of the key players with eleven points, nine rebounds and six assists.
“It’s just about being present, carrying on day by day and working on ourselves, and I think we’re doing a good job at that,” said Hartenstein: “We wanted to put pressure on right from the start. We succeeded.” Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 29 points as Oklahoma’s best thrower, and the Thunder are the best team in the West with 28 wins and five defeats.
Schröder shows his best performance in the Warriors jersey
Dennis Schröder also celebrated a never-threatened 139:105 win against the Philadelphia 76ers with the Golden State Warriors. The German world champion showed his best performance to date for the Warriors with 15 points, seven assists and six rebounds, hitting three of his four three-point attempts.
However, it was only the third success in the eighth game since he moved from Brooklyn to Golden State; the match winner was Stephen Curry with 30 points.
