Marie Decuyper, who is called Bernadette, is 61 years old and left a café on the Moerkerkse Steenweg in Sint-Kruis, near the Ringvaart, around 12:45 am. Previously, a search had been carried out in the area around the café and her home, but that turned up nothing. The police speak of a disturbing disappearance and are now searching the water near the Kruispoort with a boat.
