New Orleans attacker was a veteran and ‘determined to cause a massacre’ | Abroad

New Orleans – The perpetrator of the attack in New Orleans who was shot dead by the police is a 42-year-old man with American nationality, reports the FBI. It concerns Shamsud Din Jabbar who lived in the state of Texas. The man in his forties was an army veteran and served in Afghanistan. The death toll has now risen to at least 15. About 35 people were injured.
