The impact damaged not only the garage but also a parked car and the dividing wall of an adjacent garage. Firefighters had to shore up the structure to prevent the risk of collapse. Fortunately, there were no physical injuries, although an elderly neighbor was taken to hospital in shock.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
