Thiago Motta’s new Juventus looks to the future, but if you turn around for a moment here in Riyadh, you will find some traces of yesterday right next to it. The Lady, who landed last night with all the honors required, has finally trained on Saudi soil: the hunt for the first trophy of this new era has therefore begun directly on the field of Al-Shabab, the very club of which she is about to become officially CEO Pavel Nedved, Juventus legend on and off the pitch. The former vice-president of Juve is, in fact, ready to start again after two years of forced stop: in 2022 he resigned in Turin, together with the rest of the board of directors, after the capital gains case in which the company was involved. Pavel had initially been banned for 8 months, then completely acquitted, but had chosen not to return to work immediately.

After being close to returning to the Czech Republic in another management role, an Arab adventure now awaits him. Near his next office, there are now curiously the shirts of his life, but in the morning there was no contact between him and the old club: at the moment Nedved is not yet in the city.
