Mintel, an international market intelligence platform, has already predicted i beauty trends of 2025. What emerges is an ever-increasing focus on customized and simplified solutions, combining technology and nature. The result? Targeted, hi-tech skincare routines, environmentally conscious formulations and a holistic approach to skincare.
Beauty trend 2025: personalized skincare and hi-tech tools
It seems like the time of “10 steps” of Korean skincare is now finished. Between the beauty trends 2025 identified by the Mintel platform, a shift emerges towards fast, intelligent and personalized beauty practicesthanks to a few simple beauty steps to truly respond to the skin’s needs.
This translates into an increase in next year’s usage hi-tech beauty tool, in order to enhance the effects of the skincare routine and improve the quality of the skin.

Beauty rituals will be enhanced with artificial intelligence and augmented reality, including technologies such as AR glasses to help cosmetic choices, shopping experience interactive, hi-tech rituals even at home.
Waterless and green formulas
Between the beauty trend of 2025 then emerges an ever-increasing search by consumers for environmentally friendly cosmetic products, water-less and zero waste.
A very heartfelt trend, that of water-free cosmetic products: among Generation Alpha (i.e. those born between 2010 and today), according to Mintel research, in the United Kingdom 24% of young people between 16-24 years old already buy waterless productswhile in France the percentage rises to 28%.
Thus they increase for 2025 i powdered facial cleanserswhich turn into foams with very few drops of water, but also the shampoo in tablet or solids and no-rinse bubble baths.
In a society where the effects of climate change are becoming increasingly evident, adapting becomes fundamental also for the world of beauty, pushing towards new eco-ethical realities and engaging in the search for new sustainable ingredients.
Beauty trend 2025: a holistic and natural approach
Not just technological innovation. Mintel’s research also found a more holistic approach to beauty, with an increase in cosmetic products that follow the already famous philosophy of slow aging.
Consumers by 2025 will therefore be looking for formulas that encourage emotional well-being through sensorial and relaxing textures and natural, aromatherapeutic ingredients.
An example? Research has confirmed that skincare consumers see clear connections between lifestyle, fitness and the condition of their skin, with 72% who want to improve their skin by intervening on the quality of their sleep64% who want to eat in a more balanced way and 59% who want to practice more physical activity.
