The Finn has the best performances of his career at the Tour.

Career best sprint result (second) on Saturday, career best free standard distance result (sixteenth) on Tuesday and career best traditional standard distance result (eighth) on Wednesday.

When it goes, it goes.

Jasmi Joensuu has surprised even himself.

Joensuu rose eight places in Wednesday’s traditional style 15 kilometer pursuit.

The man from Rovaniemi still does not say publicly whether he plans to tour until the end of the Tour.

– Let’s remember that the World Cup medal is of interest. Now I’m starting to be in a condition where it’s possible.

On Friday, Joensuu will have a patch on his chest when the tour continues in Val di Fiemme. Thinking ahead, the traditional sprint is the best possible race for the Finn at this Tour.

– I enjoy this and take it one day at a time.
