Luisa Russo, mayor of Francavilla, published a post of condolence on her social pages. “Today Francavilla bids farewell to the engineer Vittorio Pomilio, who suddenly passed away yesterday afternoon after a long life of success and commitment in sport and work. We all remember him as he went to work in Pescara with his bicycle, in all weather conditions, and while he walked with his German shepherd by the sea. We remember him above all for the great successes in sport, carried out by his family and in particular by Malì Pomilio and Simone Fontecchio. A beautiful story that Francavilla did not will forget.
